Averitt Express, Cookeville, Tenn., has opened two new service centers in Winchester and Wytheville, Va.
The addition of the facilities will allow the company to serve 1,000 additional zip code points within the state, bringing its total number of zip code points to more than 2,000 in Virginia.
Averitt now operates six service centers in Virginia, including facilities in Norfolk, Richmond, Roanoke and Shenandoah Valley.
The Winchester center will be directed by Gary Taylor, while Gary Smith will oversee the Wytheville facility.
