Trucking industry leaders will be thanking drivers for their hard work and safe driving practices in the form of roadside picnics offered by the South Carolina Trucking Association during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

Three truckstops in the state will be supplying free food during the annual celebration August 12-19.
Celebration cookouts can be found at the following locations: Midlands in Columbia on August 15, at I-20 Eastbound, Exit 71-7400 Wilson Boulevard until 7:30 p.m.; Williams Travel Plaza in Florence on August 16, at US 52 & I-95, Exit 164 until 3 p.m.; Travel Centers of America in Duncan on August 17, at I-85 Northbound, Exit 63, 1402 E.
