Less-than-truckload carrier Overnite Transportation is expanding its Advantage Overnite initiative into Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Oklahoma, as well as in Canada.

In conjunction with the expanded service area, the company has improved transit times on more than 2,000 lanes throughout the Central, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Western regions.
Overnite has also launched Advantage Canada, expanding its service to provide full-province coverage for Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes, including New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
Advantage Canada expedites shipping with one master document, a pre-arrival border clearance process, online shipment tracking and access to all customs documents.
Overnite says it now provides coverage to nearly 100% of the Canadian population. The company now provides 100 percent full-coverage in 32 states east of the Rockies and more than 15,000 next- and second-day service lanes.
