Truckers who work for Schneider National, Green Bay, Wis., will receive their second pay increase of 2000 on July 30.

Company drivers will receive a 1-cent-per mile increase, which will apply to drivers of all experience levels. In addition to the pay raises, Schneider drivers also benefit from recent improvements to the bonus and 401(k) programs.
Owner-operators will receive their second 2-cent-per-mile increase of the year. Both of the pay increases apply to owner-operators in Schneider’s van division, raising base pay to at least 84 cents per mile. Schneider also provides owner-operators and fleet owners with a 100 percent Fuel Price Protection Program, currently adding an additional 3 cents per mile to help combat rising fuel costs.
