LTL carrier Consolidated Freightways has opened a terminal in Puebla, Mexico, to answer growing demand provided by its subsidiary, CF/Mexico.

The new terminal is located an hour outside of Mexico City. Last month, CF opened a terminal at Torreon, Coahuila, and plans to continue investing in new facilities, equipment and personnel.
CF/Mexico was launched two years ago to provide LTL service to and from NAFTA countries. The subsidiary provides direct service through three border gateways to more than 85 destinations south of the U.S. border.
