The Teamsters union is holding rallies today at dozens of Overnite Transportation terminals across the country.

Teamsters President James P. Hoffa was scheduled to appear at a rally at the Overnite terminal in New Orleans, where he will discuss "Phase Two" of the union's unfair labor practice strike against the less-than-truckload carrier.
The Teamsters have had pickets at Overnite terminals since Oct. 24, with about 1,800 workers on strike.
The union also announced yesterday that the National Labor Relations Board has issued another complaint against Overnite. The complaint charges that Overnite refused to bargain collectively and in good faith with the Teamsters at Overnite terminals in Bowling Green, KY, Detroit, MI, Lexington, KY, and Buffalo, NY. This is the seventh NLRB complaint issued since the strike began, according to the union.
