P.A.M. Transportation Services, Tontitown, AR, has reported net income of $11.3 million for
the year ended Dec. 31, 1999 versus net income of $8.1 million for 1998.

Revenues increased 44.9% to $207,.4 million, compared to 1998 revenues of $143.2 million. Operating income of $24.5 million for the year, up 43.3% from the prior year.
The company reported fourth quarter 1999 net income of $2.4 million, up from $1.9 million in the same period in 1998, while revenues for the quarter were up 35.8% to $51 million.
President Robert W. Weaver said "Our fourth quarter reflects outstanding results given the escalating costs incurred during the quarter. The quarter also closed what can only be described as a banner year. Costs continue to increase, but our goal continues to be the achievement
of record profitability."
