The vice president of the nation's largest owner-operator association had some harsh words for truckers who formed rolling roadblocks last Wednesday on I-75 in Ohio to protest high diesel prices.

Trucks drove three abreast on I-75 at speeds of 20 mph to 40 mph, backing up rush hour traffic for about two miles. The Ohio State Patrol cited three drivers for impeding traffic.
OOIDA's Todd Spencer told the Cincinnati Enquirer that the truckers, mostly owner-operators, should choose more productive ways to protest the high fuel prices that are forcing many independents to park their trucks.
Spencer said truckers should "park your truck at the state capitol and talk to the lawmaker," rather than penalizing rush-hour motorists who have nothing to do with high fuel prices.
