A new Body Installer's Guide from Mack Trucks provides 240 pages of information relating to the mounting of body structures and other equipment to Mack Class 8 chassis, including CH600, CL700, RD600, RB600, RD800, DM600, DMM600, MR600 and LE600 Series vehicles.
The guide covers considerations regarding frame mounting, electrical systems, air systems and interfacing with the V-MAC III electronic vehicle management and control system, which is standard on all Mack E-Tech engines. Helpful information also is provided on weight ratings and federal bridge formulas, regulations and safety standards, and vehicle certification.
