Ryder System is working with the U.S. Department of Labor's Job Corps program to provide employment opportunities for new truck technicians.

Job Corps is the nation's oldest and largest job-training program, offering training for more than 68,000 young adults between 16 and 24 at 118 centers around the country. Ryder System, based in Miami, is a leading provider of transportation and logistics services.
The Ryder program will consist of three phases, beginning with three months of training as truck maintenance technicians. Those who graduate to the next level will work directly with Ryder customers. The final phase consists of apprenticeships as Ryder diesel mechanic specialists.
