Dart Transit Co. has begun testing HighwayMaster's new TrackWare trailer-tracking system.
TrackWare uses GPS and terrestrial-wireless data transmission technologies to
communicate location and event reports between trailers and dispatch operations.
David Oren, executive vice president of Dart, said the system promised to provide a "more effective method for managing our trailer productivity."
