Arrow Trucking Company has expanded its logistics division to form Arrow Logistics. The new subsidiary will be based out of Arrow's Houston terminal. Aubrey Scully is the executive director.
Arrow President and CEO Jim Pielsticker called the expansion "a natural" for the Tulsa, OK, based carrier which has experienced steady growth in its fleets and operational facilities, including the recent addition of a terminal in Laredo, TX, to access traffic lanes in Mexico.
Arrow Trucking operates 1,450 tractors and 2,500 trailers from terminals in five states. It has clients in the buiding materials industy, aircraft components, military items, glass products, iron, steel and general commodities throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
"By providing engineering, technology and oeprations expertise, we now provide one-stopshopping for our clients' trucking, rail, barge and ocean transport needs," said Pielsticker.
