The American Trucking Assns. will hold its 1999 Management Conference and Exhibition Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at Mariott's Orlando World Center Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former White House Press Secretary Mike McCurry will be featured in a political debate. Legendary golf pro and businessman Arnold Palmer will share his life experiences. Business tycoon Richard Teerlink will speak about how he jumpstarted Harley Davidson.
There will be more than 20 educational sessions on topics such as cargo theft, financing and leasing, enterprise risk management, maximizing your ATA membership dollars, communicating with drivers, driver turnover, tax tips for family-owned businesses, and DOT audits. Wynonna Judd will perform at the annual banquet, and approximately 150 exhibitors will show their wares in the exhibit hall.
