Illegal gambling machines were seized last week from truckstops and convenience stores in nine counties in north Mississippi and Shelby County, TN.

The raids, which turned up 125 illegal slots at about 60 locations, were the result of a two-year FBI investigation. No arrests have yet been made.
The machines are in violation of state and federal laws. The sting was part of an effort to rid northern Mississippi of illegal gambling devices, according to FBI officials.
