Freightliner To Develop Web-Based Dealer Software

In an effort to provide its dealers with the best software system available, Freightliner has sign a letter of intent with the Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing to develop a web-based dealer management system for Freightliner and Sterling dealers.
The agreement also calls for ADP to acquire Key Computer Systems International from Freightliner Corp.
The new client/server, web-enabled program will interface with Freightliner's existing systems, including PartsPro and ServicePro. Currently, Freightliner offers 14 software programs to assist dealers and fleet managers.
