Janoe Kenworth Trucks plans to open a new, full-service facility on Interstate 10 in San Antonio this January.

Janoe Kenworth will move its sales, parts, service and administrative operations into a new, two-story, 48,000-square-foot facility now under construction. The dealership will feature 24 service bays, plus two Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube bays, a 15,000-square-foot parts showroom and parts warehouse, expanded hours of operation, and a staff of more than 60 employees.
The dealer will continue to operate a mobile service maintenance truck and two parts delivery trucks, in addition to offering customer clinics focused on truck parts.
The new location is 34 acres, which gives the dealership room for future expansion. Ben Bennett, Janoe spokesman, says the building and landscaped grounds will "be very unique-looking as far as heavy duty truck dealerships go."
When the new facility opens, the current location at 5036 Roosevelt Ave. will stay open for body shop and make-ready work, leasing and rentals.
Janoe Kenworth caters primarily to owner-operators and small fleets, and also has a small number of large fleet accounts.
