Kenworth honored its heavy duty and medium duty truck salesmen of the year during the company's third annual "World's Best" meeting held recently in Indian Wells, CA.
Robert Bowden of Texas Kenworth in Dallas was named 1998 Kenworth Heavy Duty Truck Salesman of the Year. Jim Hawkins of Midwest Kenworth in Kansas City was named 1998 Kenworth Medium Duty Truck Salesman of the Year. It was the second year in a row that Bowden and Hawkins captured the awards.
Bowden also achieved membership in the Kenworth 200 Club, which honors Kenworth salespeople who sell at least 200 new heavy duty trucks in a year.
In addition to recognizing outstanding performance, the World's Best meeting included training sessions with suppliers.
