Nov. 27 – Ford Credit Wednesday announced its planned acquisition of the AMI Leasing Group. AMI, a full-service commercial leasing company for cars, trucks and equipment, will become a part of Ford Credit’s lending operations.
With more than 15,000 vehicles nationwide, AMI Leasing Group also offers fleet management services. Headquartered in Worcester, MA, it has 25 sales and service facilities throughout the country.
“We are really excited about this logical extension of our business,” says Bob Labadie, director of commercial lending services at Ford Credit. “By working together, we believe we can find new and exciting growth opportunities for both Ford and AMI.”
