After closing in late September due to sagging, the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge in Green Bay is set to reopen to traffic in both directions on Sunday.
Corrosion Led to Bridge’s Sagging and Closure Along I-43
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says an inspection that continues, has so far revealed that pilings located eight feet below the bottom of the concrete footing of the Leo Frigo Bridge, along Interstate 43 in Green Bay, bucked due to corrosion.
