NTSB to Investigate Latest Autonomous Vehicle Crash

Despite human error appearing to be the cause of the crash of an autonomous shuttle van in Las Vegas earlier this week, the National Transportation Safety Board is sending investigators to look at the accident more closely, according to a report by Reuters News Agency.

Daimler Trucks Unveils Long-Term Plan for Autonomous-Driving Trucks

Daimler Trucks on Thursday shared its vision of the future of trucking trucks that can drive themselves, saying they could help solve the driver shortage problem -- but not by taking drivers out of trucks altogether. The autonomous truck project, called Mercedes-Benz Future Truck 2025, was demonstrated on a section of the A14 Autobahn.
