Truck Driver Turnover Drops but Still High

The turnover rate at large truckload carriers fell six percentage points to 91% in the fourth quarter of 2013, but held above 90% for the eighth consecutive quarter, according to new figures released by the American Trucking Associations.

According to the latest edition of American Trucking Associations’ Trucking Activity Report, the annualized driver turnover rate at large truckload fleets dipped two percentage points to 97% in the third quarter of 2013.
