NTSB to Investigate Latest Autonomous Vehicle Crash

Despite human error appearing to be the cause of the crash of an autonomous shuttle van in Las Vegas earlier this week, the National Transportation Safety Board is sending investigators to look at the accident more closely, according to a report by Reuters News Agency.

Trucking Alliance Adopts AAA Advanced Safety Tech Recommendations

The Alliance for Driver Safety & Security, commonly known as the Trucking Alliance, announced that its carrier members must use four truck-safety technologies that the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety has concluded are critical to reducing large truck crashes and saving lives.

Four-Wheelers Less Concerned Than Before Over Dangerous Driving Behaviors

The number of people who believe that texting or emailing while driving is a very serious threat declined from 87% in 2009 to 81% in 2012.

According to a new survey from AAA, Americans are less likely than they used to be to perceive a serious threat from dangerous driving behaviors such as drunk, aggressive or drowsy driving.
