Ken-Tool Introduces the Professional Super Single Axle Drain Pan
October 29, 2013 - Products
Ken-Tool announced its latest new product, the Professional Super Single Axle Drain Pan.The new drain pan solves the problem of gear oil and grease drips and spills on wheels and tires, and on shop floors when servicing the axles of trucks and trailers.
Manufactured in the U.S.A. from lightweight, high density polyethylene, the axle drain pan can be securely attached to the wheel using two or three lug studs with finger tightened nuts. The pan is contoured to rest flat with the sides gripping the wheel's drop-center. The pan fits most 22.5-inch and 24.5-inch, 10-hole hub or stud-piloted steel or alloy super single, wide-base and dual wheels.
The pan features a pair of self-draining shelves to conveniently place hub covers, bearings, retainers, seals and hub or axle nuts up out of the way. The high capacity pan features two drip-proof drain spouts for easy waste disposal. The HDPE plastic resists heat and warping, and deep sides and flat bottom prevent accidental spills on the floor or a work bench.
The Ken-Tool Professional Super Single Axle Drain Pan is designed for workplace safety. The highly visible bright orange color helps technicians avoid spilling a pan attached to the axle or sitting the floor, and the tip-resistant design helps keep shop floors slip-free. Additionally, the bright orange color makes it easier to spot oil contaminants and parts when draining the axle.
