LAS VEGAS – Wabco's new budget spare parts brand, ProVia, is making its debut at  Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas.

According to Wabco, ProVia parts are designed to bridge the gap between questionably built parts and premium aftermarket parts, striking a balance between safety, reliability and cost. ProVia parts are engineered for reliability and manufactured to high industry standards, the company says.

At HDAW, Wabco is showcasing a number of ProVia-branded aftermarket products including brake pads and spring brake chambers. The ProVia line of brake pads will cover the most commonly used air disc brakes from leading truck and trailer platforms. ProVia brake pads come with approximately 10 different kits that offer replacement alternatives for more than 120 part numbers of various commercial vehicle builders.

ProVia will also offer low cost brake chambers with a universal design to cover a wide range of applications in the truck, bus, and off-highway vehicle segments. ProVia brake chambers are designed to last for more operating cycles than comparable budget parts, according to Wabco.

Wabco also announced remanufacturing services and aftermarket sales support for the recently acquired RH Sheppard’s power steering gears. Additionally, Wabco plans to continue growing its distribution network and enhance its proximity to customers in North America.

“HDAW is the ideal platform to feature our new offerings for Sheppard steering gears and to introduce our new budget spare parts brand ProVia, which perfectly balances product safety, reliability and cost,” said Abe Aon, Wabco North America sales leader, aftermarket.
