SAF-Holland announced that Mike Kamsickas has been named the new president of the Powered Vehicle Systems Business Unit, replacing Jack Gisinger who will be retiring.

In his new role, Kamsickas will be responsible for global operations, product engineering, OEM sales and strategic planning for the business unit. He has 30 years of experience in the automotive and heavy-duty vehicle industries and was most recently with the supplier Dayco Products.

“Mike’s extensive global business experience will benefit SAF-Holland as we continue to focus on creating greater value for our customers,” said Detlef Borghardt, CEO of SAF-Holland.

At Dayco, he held several leadership positions including president of Global Operations, president of North American OE, and executive vice president. Prior to Dayco he was with Faurecia, Valeo and Lear.

Gisinger will continue in his role as president until he retires at the end of the year, completing a 35-year career with the company.

"Jack’s guidance during this time will ensure a smooth transition for Mike in his new role,” said Borghardt. “Having Jack work closely with Mike through the end of the year will ensure continuity of the business.”
