HDA Truck Pride named Davenport and Willingham the 2014 Truck Service expert of the year at the HDTA Truck Pride Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas.

Founded by truck technicians Alan Davenport and Bobby Willingham, the company was started in 1989 in a facility with four service bays. Today, Davenport and Willingham operates out of a 21,000 square-foot facility with 16 service bays.  Davenport and Willingham also boasts a 14,000 square foot parts and retail showroom. The firm employs 18 persons.

To be honored as the HDA Truck Pride Truck Service Expert of the Year, the company must excel in a number of categories. The honoree must embrace and support the HDA Truck Pride Truck Service Experts brand in its marketplace. It must also have technical expertise and constantly aim to improve through training.

Davenport and Willingham distinguished itself by displaying the HDTA Truck Pride Truck Service Experts brand on their exterior signage, inside banners, work uniforms and store displays. The company’s team participates in live training webinars whenever possible and listens to recordings of missed sessions.

The company also took part in two of the HDA Truck Pride Regional Training Fairs using the Business Training and Online Business Calculator tool.

HDA Truck Pride is an independent provider of parts and services for the commercial vehicle aftermarket serving the North American markets. It has more than 700 distribution locations and over 400 service facilities.
