The Memphis 3rd Annual Trucking Expo, presented by The National Association For Minority Truckers, will showcase products in trucking and shed light on various services.


The show will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Agricenter International in Memphis, Tenn.

The show's emcee will be Tim Brady, retired owner-operator turned trucking journalist, offering advice for owner-operators through articles, radio appearances and truckersu.com.

Educational seminars on fuel savings, commercial insurance, truckers and technology and more will be held throughout the day. A career and job fair will feature recruiters from hiring companies, colleges and trade schools. Truck drivers will have an opportunity to pose questions and concerns to industry experts during the Truckers' Forum, and representatives from the healthcare industry will be available with information and services at the Healthy Truckers Pavilion.

Tim Ridley of the Tim Ridley Show on SiriusXM Road Dog Trucking Radio Channel 106 will be broadcasting Live from the event. The Kid's Zone expo will include PlayStation tournaments, face painting, and balloon animals.

The expo will kick off with an 18-wheeler convoy. The convoy lineup will start at 7:30 a.m. at the Wolfchase Galleria and will end at the Agricenter International. The convoy will be followed by a Driver Appreciation Rally. Truckers will have an opportunity to show off their trucks for top prizes and win $500 for Best Working Class Truck or $1,000 for Best Show Truck in the 2012 Showoff Truck Contest.
