FleetPride acquired Interstate Turbo Supply in Commerce City, Colo.

According to the company, the acquisition will provide FleetPride a more diverse customer base, enhanced sales opportunities and an additional location to serve the needs of the heavy-duty parts industry in the Denver marketplace.

Interstate Turbo Supply was founded in 1968 by Clenten Miles. His son, Dan Miles, assumed the role of president upon his retirement in 1977. Dan will remain with the company and employment offers were extended to all operational employees.

The acquisition is one of many by Fleetpride recently. Earlier this year, the company acquired Midway Truck Parts, which raised some concerns over consolidation in the aftermarket industry.
