Carl Long, Mansion Motorsports’ tractor driver and Winston Cup driver, won the second event of the “International Truck Challenge,” held at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in North Carolina over the weekend.

Long posted a winning time of 99.657 seconds to claim the $1,000 prize money given to the winner of each individual event.
In front of the biggest crowd to see an International Truck Challenge event, the race team drivers strutted their stuff. In addition to Long, the competition featured Rodney Pickler, for #2 Rusty Wallace, who posted another impressive run of 99.763 seconds, and Barry Sheppard for #21 Eliott Sadler, Wood Brothers Racing.
As part of the company’s exclusive four-year sponsorship program with NASCAR, International Truck and Engine Corporation developed the International Truck Challenge as a way to give Winston Cup’s behind-the-scenes drivers a chance to demonstrate their capabilities on the racetrack driving an International 9400i tractor-trailer.
The next International Truck Challenge event will take place July 14, at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill. For more information visit www.InternationalDelivers.com.
