The fifth annual Douglas Gentle Memorial Rally was held in August in Houlton, ME, and featured a show and shine tractor contest, truck parade and driving competitions.
The annual event, held in the memory of Douglas Warren Gentle, a trucker who was murdered when his rig was stolen from a Connecticut truckstop in 1992, is sponsored by one of his favorite charities, Transport for Christ International.
In the driving competition, Maine trucker Chris Watson was named overall champion after receiving the highest combined score in the driving and tractor show and shine contests.
