Jan. 7 – If you haul bulk freight, there’s a new Internet-based load-finding service designed especially for you.

The new site, http://www.bulkload.com, is a subscription-based load matching and information service designed specifically for the bulk trucking industry. The site is designed to meet the needs of all sizes of bulk hauling operations, from an owner-operator with one dump trailer to a 1,000-truck fleet with 10 different trailer types and sizes.
Users can search for loads, post trucks available, post or read classified ads, and check out links to other bulk hauling web sites. Subscriptions cost $40 per month.
“After 20-plus years in the transportation business, I felt that there was a definite niche market with bulk load matching,” says Gary Feldman with bulkload.com.
