A. PS-386 is a specially formulated synthetic designed for fuel efficiency with durability in mind. It is the replacement for PS-164 Rev 7 which will be obsoleted January 2017.

Benefits include up to 1.5% fuel economy improvement vs. PS-164 Rev 7, extended drain intervals, and excellent thermal and oxidation stability. PS-386 was formulated to reduce sump operating temperatures in today's heavy duty commercial vehicles and was field tested in various conditions, geographies, and fleets across the country.
