How Fleets Inadvertently Violate Privacy Laws

There are more than 3,000 federal and state laws and regulations prohibiting unauthorized dissemination or access to employee personally identifiable information (PII). However, employee privacy is sometimes inadvertently compromised by fleets. The reason this occurs is because the PII that was electronically captured by the out-of-service fleet vehicle is not deleted.

Commercial Fleet Sales in Canada Forecast to be Flat in 2016-CY

February 16, 2016

Automotive retail sales in Canada hit a record of 1.89 million new vehicles sold in calendar-year 2015. This is the third consecutive year of record retail sales in Canada. Commercial sales, on the other hand, were a different story. Cumulative sales in the commercial fleet market were flat year-over-year compared to 2014. The forecast is more of the same for CY-2016.
