Whether you’re looking to improve the environment, tap into demand for “greener” transportation options, or save money on fuel, there are many possible routes to take when it comes to alternative fuels. While some fuels, such as propane and natural gas, have increased their presence in both vehicle options and infrastructure, others are only taking their first steps in the heavy-duty market. In this month’s issue of HDT, we take you where we’ve been, where we are and where we’re going in terms of “greening” the way the industry fuels its way down the road.

It's great that HDT is covering a broad array of "Alternative Fuels" for the industry as a whole. One sector missing is Diesel Water Emulsions. DWE has been used extensively in Europe and here in the US in 24/7 operations. Historically, DWE has shown to reduce wear and soot deposits in engine oils and burns significantly cleaner than diesel.
DWE is the only technology that can provide improved mileage and significantly reduce NOx and PM emissions simultaneously.
