The V-Check1 continuously monitors the state of power for any battery, particularly liftgate batteries, and flashes red if they are too low. Batteries can then be charged before they are needed, eliminating a situation where battery power is required but not available.

The device alerts operators during pre-trip inspections that battery power may be lower than required to complete the day's tasks. If battery voltage is more than 12.4 volts or 75% power, the LED light flashes green, but if the voltage falls below 12.39 volts, the light will blink red indicating that batteries should be charged before the trailer leaves on the next trip.

Phillips's also offers a 12-volt version.
