Truck-Lite announced a training program and emergency repair kit aimed at helping truckers comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's new CSA enforcement system.
Some of the materials will include a CSA and lighting brochure with FMCSA regulations, a dedicated web site with frequently asked CSA lighting questions, and onsite customer training materials.
"Vehicle lighting is a prominent area of emphases in the CSA vehicle maintenance category acting as a flag to enforcement and potentially leading to a vehicle review," said Truck-Lite Vice President of Marketing Bob Ives.
The Truck-Lite Roadside Repair Kit includes three LED lights and repair tools in a vinyl zippered 12-inch by 8-1/2 -inch bag to do emergency repairs. For a limited time, Truck-Lite has included a coupon to mail back for a free LED license lamp kit.
