The NAFA Fleet Management Association has produced a narrated learning presentation that explains the intricacies of lifecycle cost analysis.

NAFA's new Lifecycle Cost Analysis for Fleets was created to show fleet managers how to implement the use of analytical financial modeling within their vehicle fleets. Available on a computer flash drive, this narrated learning presentation takes about three hours to review, including time to complete all four review activities. Two complete lifecycle cost analysis examples are provided - one using U.S. dollars and miles and the other based in Canadian dollars and kilometers.

With this easy-to-follow resource, fleet managers will gain a realistic perspective by completing activities using their own problems and information. Examples of actual spreadsheets used by NAFA Members let users see how their peers are doing lifecycle cost analysis modeling. These examples include a step-by-step, realistic lifecycle costing example as approached by a leased corporate fleet; a demonstration of lifecycle costing from the owned public fleet perspective; a lifecycle cost analysis model for a major construction equipment manufacturer; and examples from fleet managers throughout every segment of fleet.

"In my 25 years at NAFA, this is one of the best products I have ever seen NAFA release," said the Association's Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "Every fleet manager should have this tool on their computer."

Lifecycle Cost Analysis for Fleets is available for NAFA Members and Affiliates at a special introductory rate of $65.34 until March 15. The price for non-members is $139. After March 15, the price for NAFA Members becomes $99. Note: due to the file size of the product, it is only available on a flash drive.
