Denex announced it's distributing a new "portable" version of the Snow Scraper System in Canada.
The unit is secured by heavy concrete blocks. For moving, these are removed, the wheels engaged and the unit rolls to the new site. Only power requirement for the winch is 110v.
Scraper Systems Inc. was founded in the late 90s by trucking industry veteran, Bill Yeaglin, who had worked with Yellow Freight for many years. Yeaglin invented and patented this system for removing dangerous build ups of snow and ice atop tractor trailers.
The Scraper System allows safe and efficient removal of dangerous snow coverings. The vehicle approaches the gantry, the driver gets out and lowers the blade to the top of the trailer and then drives through, returning the blade to the original position prior to departure.
