A new version of the uDrove iPhone application is now available at the App Store. uDrove is a business and compliance management tool for the trucking industry that runs on smart phones, including iPhone, Android and BlackBerry.
"Since we initially launched uDrove this spring, we have continued to enhance the solution on both the mobile phone and the website," said Joel McGinley, president of uDrove LLC. "This latest release takes advantage of new functionality within the iPhone OS 4 such as multi-tasking and an improved GPS system."
Other enhancements include an improved view of available driving and on-duty hours; ability to input data using the QWERTY keyboard; enhanced load tracking accuracy; and improved log approval process with driver signature. The newest version also includes enhanced log editing features and the ability to take multiple photos of proof of delivery documents.
uDrove enables drivers to keep a log, track mileage for tax purposes, record fuel and business expenses and complete and electronically submit driver's vehicle inspection reports and proof of delivery documents. It also provides fleets and shippers with real-time load tracking from pick-up to delivery.
