Silver Eagle Manufacturing Company has unveiled its new Hawk converter dolly, which will begin shipping in September.
One of four dolly configurations Silver Eagle manufactures, the Hawk weighs 2,680 pounds with a capability of handling a gross vehicle weight rating of 20,000 pounds.
"With the lower dolly weight, fleets are assured a higher payload," said Mark Jurman, vice president of commercial sales for Silver Eagle. "Our customers asked for a lighter dolly with many of the Silver Eagle hallmarks."
Standard components on the Silver Eagle Hawk include a Huck-bolted frame and drawbar made out of 0.25-inch high-strength steel. The entire body of the Hawk is also e-coated and painted to prevent rust corrosion.
