Automotive Resources International, a fleet management solutions provider, has launched a Truck Hazard Perception program to help fleets identify and address exact driver behaviors that present the greatest risk.

The program offers a two-prong approach to risk evaluation and safety training. According to ARI, this approach will produce a return on investment to vocational fleets through reduced repair costs, decreased downtime and averted liability.

Drivers view real-life streaming video and are simultaneously tested on their ability to perceive hazards. This is followed by a series of theory-based questions designed to assess driver knowledge and attitudes.

The ARI Truck Hazard Perception program is part of its ARI Driver Excellence master program, which offers a full range of risk management products and services for both vocational and passenger vehicle drivers designed to reduce collisions, liability exposure, injuries, and costs.
