Inflation Solutions Group Fleet has developed a nitrogen tire inflation system, which claims annual savings of $5,000 in fuel and tires

For each fleet that orders the system, ISG will provide a complete site evaluation and recommend the most efficient system to covert a fleet's tractors and trailers to nitrogen. The inflation package includes a nitrogen generator; receivers; automatic, accurate and digital inflators; nitrogen purity analyzer; and all the tools needed for deflation and inflation. In addition, ISG will provide ongoing inflation hardware, as well as on-site training and review and maintenance offerings.
According to the company, the system can save a fleet 23,000 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions, based on a 100 truck fleet.
