Webb Wheel's new hub for "TN" axles weighs 31 pounds with studs and bearing cups, while the "TP" axle hub weighs in at 33 pounds.
The new hubs have been rated for 25,000# axle gross vehicle weight (GVW) and weigh one to three pounds less.

The new hub for "TN" axles weighs 31 pounds with studs and bearing cups, while the "TP" axle hub weighs in at 33 pounds. The results of both SAE J1095 and Webb performance testing at a 25,000-pound axle rating indicated exceptional durability characteristics for both hubs, Webb Wheel says.

According to Webb Wheel, specifying trailer hub and drum assemblies as Webb aluminum hubs and Vortex lightweight gray iron drums can save vehicle operators 28 pounds per axle-end, or 112 pounds per trailer, as compared to standard hub and drum configurations. Webb aluminum hubs and Vortex drums can improve operation performance with added payload, improved fuel efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.
