PCS Software has released a new iPhone application that allows drivers to collect consignee signatures on their iPhones.
iBOL, which stands for "Bill of Lading," generates a date and time stamped Signature Collection screen when the driver types in the delivery location, pieces and weight.

The consignee uses a plastic iPhone stylus to sign the iPhone screen, and then iBOL sends a signed receipt image file back to the driver's office e-mail address where it can be printed or included in with any electronic billing the company may be doing. Using the new tool, drivers don't have to drive to the office to turn in Proofs of Delivery, and the company can get their billing done within seconds of the delivery being made.

iBOL is available at the App Store or for more information, visit www.pcssoft.com.
