Hyva Group launched the "BU" telescopic cylinder series, an additional range of product aimed at the cylinder aftermarket sales channel.
"BU" denotes Base USA, a product designed to increase HYVA's share of the telescopic cylinder aftermarket across the USA and Canada. The new BU series offer a base design similar to common cylinders seen in the North American market, allowing drop-in replacement when removing a failed competitive unit. No adjustment of chassis and body mounting locations is required to fit the cylinder.
"While OEMs will engineer-in our main line product, the aftermarket functions differently - end-users will not typically wait or pay for a replacement cylinder to be fitted to their trailer or truck," said Guy Vachon, Managing Director, HYVA USA.
