Mitchell 1, a Snap-on Company, has made improvements to its online repair programs, Tractor-Trailer.net and Medium-Truck.net, including enhancements to the sites' navigation tools.
The two sites provides web-based service and repair information for medium-duty trucks as well as heavy-duty Class 7 and 8 tractors and trailers. Mitchell 1 updates detailed procedural information, color photos, diagnostics and wiring diagrams every month.
The tool now includes a text-based search feature that will look through the entire article, instead of just components. In addition, Mitchell 1 has added breadcrumbs to keep track of where a technician is in the program in the middle of a repair procedure. This feature allows the technician to back track to previously viewed information.
Available on a 24/7 basis, Tractor-Trailer.net and Medium-Truck.net feature detailed color wiring diagrams to help solve complex electrical problems. CircuitSelect, available with both products, allows users to trace, highlight, isolate and hide individual wiring circuits using different colored highlights. The services also include full-color photos of many vehicle parts and assemblies.
