Stoops Freightliner is offering cash for any used truck that is driven into any of its six locations in the Midwest as part of its new Cash for Clunkers Program for Class 8 vehicles.
Freightliner Columbias The dealer is giving customers a minimum of $10,000 on trade towards the selection of previously owned 2006 and 2007 Freightliner Columbias.
"The recent economic environment has resulted in owners holding on to their trucks longer," said Al Rock, corporate used truck manager at Stoops Freightliner. "Our program is a win-win for the customer because they can receive significant trade value and upgrade to a popular Freightliner model that will result in more uptime and lower maintenance costs."
The program ends Nov. 30. In addition to standard engine and equipment options, the dealer is offering customers warranty and financing options.
