Tracer Products has introduced a new portable, blue light LED fluorescent leak detection flashlight.
The Tracerline TP-8690 Optimax 3000 assists technicians in pinpointing all leaks the first time, to avoid undetected leaks. The Optimax 3000 uses super-hi-flux LED technology that can deliver light that 15 times brighter than regulation LED lamps, according to the company.
The flashlight has the same power as a 150-watt lamp that must be plugged into an AC power source, with an inspection range of 20 feet or more. Powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery, the unit has an LED lifetime of 50,000 hours.
The Optimax 3000 comes with fluorescence-enhancing glasses and an AC battery charger.
