Prophesy Transportation Solutions has upgraded its DispatchSeries trucking software, including enhancements to its load scheduler, last commodity tracking and a new alert center.
"In addition to regularly planned development, we have included several requested improvements that we are excited to share with our user base," said Bill Ashburn, Prophesy vice president.
DispatchSeries version 6 now features completed loads within its load scheduler, with up to eight days of load history. Prophesy has also added last commodity tracking, which tracks the last commodity hauled in a trailer while displaying this information to the user at the time of load assignment.
With the new version, users can also track and document trailer washouts and receive alerts notifying that a washout is required. The new alert center sets up custom alerts for users to enforce business rules and monitor driver appointments. These custom alerts pop up when a rule is violated or a metric falls outside of a defined threshold. The alerts can be configured according to the user's role in the company.
Prophesy has also made improvements to its e-mail and PDF functionality. With one click, an on-screen report can be converted to a PDF format and attached to an e-mail. In addition, users can create groups of e-mail recipients when addressing an e-mail.
