New Pig Corp. has unveiled the Pig Blue Absorbent Mat, designed to absorb and disperse liquid evenly
. Made from recycled cellulose and polypropylene, the Pig Blue Absorbent Mat has FiberFusion technology, which adds strength and absorbency when managing leaks and spills.
"And with 70 percent recycled fiber content, the Mat provides an environmentally responsible and cost effective way to deal with liquid containment problems in the industrial workplace," said Scott Diminick, absorbent business platform leader.
Available in pads and rolls, the product can absorb up to 34 gallons of oils, coolants, solvents and water per 100 heavy weight pads. In addition, the company says it eliminates light spots or leak zones, allowing liquids to be absorbed more evenly for better wicking and retention.
Pig Blue Absorbent Mat is flame retardant, and it meets NFPA 99 standards for static decay.
New Pig, based in Tipton, Pa., is a multi-channel, multi-brand supplier of liquid management solutions and industrial maintenance products to industrial, institutional, and government facilities.
